Cinnamon Star ... 72"x72" December 2006

The colors of this quilt were inspired by the border fabric used in it. Pattern by Marsha McCloskey found in Quick Classic Quilts by Oxmoor House. Hobb's Silk batting. Aurifil 50 weight thread used in the quilting. Machine pieced and quilted on a Bernina 1260.

Juried into the 2007 AQS Show, Paducah, KY

Romance ... 57"x57" December 2006 This is a Wedding present for my niece Erica and her husband Jeremy Bardon. Hand appliquéd and Machine Quilted on a Bernina 1260. Hobb's Wool Batting. Superior Masterpiece 50 weight thread used in the quilting. Juried into the 2007 AQS Show, Paducah, KY
Sonoma Star ... 63" x 63" 1998 Machine Pieced and Machine Quilted on my Viking 6370. Mountain Mist Blue Ribbon Batting with Fairfield's low loft polyester used in the Trapunto. I always wanted to make a California Star block. I was cured of that after making all those 3 inch Ohio Stars!	Click on image
Triple Feathered Star ... 55" x 55" 2004 I couldn't wait until Marsha McCloskey's new book Feathered Star Quilt Blocks came out in 2003. I always wanted to do a Triple Feathered Star block and the book had a pattern for one in it. I pieced and quilted this piece in 4 days! Mountain Mist 100% cotton batting. Fairfield Low loft polyester batting used in the trapunto. Quilted on a Bernina 1230 with Aurifil 50 weight cotton thread.	Click on image
