Julie began quilting in 1985 thinking that all quilts should be hand quilted. That changed in 1988 when she saw Harriet Hargrave's quilts. Julie's specialty is machine quilting. Her quilts have been juried into national shows including Paducah and Houston. She received Best Machine Quilting awards from Road to California in 1997 and 1998, from Quilt America! in 1999, from the MN Quilt Show Inspirations in 2002 and from Quilt Odyssey in 2002. The quilt on the right, Honor Abides Here, was published in McCall's Quilting, August 2006 Issue. Kelly Corbridge designed this beauty and Julie did the machine quilting.
